This year 2022 had many milestones for CommerceUp. We experienced a lot of growth, both in team as well as in our reach. Our numbers grew from six to twenty while our merchant vendors saw a 3x increase in their clientele. Our user base saw a twelvefold expansion. CEO Insights 2022
Recently founder & CEO of CommerceUp Piyush Pathak got featured by CEO Insights in Top 10 BITS PILANI Alumni Leaders 2022. He was described as “highly skilled in the design and development of software applications with a strong knowledge of ecommerce technology to launch scalable business.” As an alumnus of BITS Pilani, he has transcended the ordinaries of the ecommerce market built to solve complex problems for D2C (Direct-to-customer) brands. Building a customer base in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the Middle East & North Africa region, he hopes to soon expand into the Indian market as well.
Affiliate World Asia Conference 2022
In November, Piyush Pathak attended one of the biggest affiliate conferences taking place in Bangkok, the Affiliate World Asia Conference 2022 at Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Center. He connected with many major market leaders from the affiliate marketing sector sharing ideas on making digital commerce effective.
Commerceup team celebrated Diwali commemorating more than a year of opening of our new office in sector 27, Gurugram. Awards were distributed to team members based on performance along with many fun games, activities and a talent hunt program. The team gathered in festively informal attire and went for a dinner outing.
Seamless MENA Summit
In May, team leaders Sahil Tanwar & Gagandeep S. Parmar attended Seamless Middle East & North Africa (MENA) where many SMEs showcased interesting and innovative technologies that are shaping digital e-commerce and online journeys. Some of these were recognized startups like Tapflow, Yeepee, ZeLoop, TokMob, SWIRL, Stargaze, Rrapitag, Kartonah, Finvault and Beezr. The team discussed the pain points of clients with their existing stores while exploring potential partnership modules to expand the business globally. Earlier in March, Commerceup debuted in the MENA region addressing the unique technology needs of medium and large enterprises.
While the team works with full dedication, we have fun with utmost enthusiasm. In May the team went to Rishikesh for an off-site team outing. We enjoyed merrymaking activities like river rafting and outdoor games.

Ever since the pandemic, ecommerce sales have seen a sharp rise and are expected to continue the trend beyond the pandemic era. Lockdown restrictions had mandated people to shop daily necessities from e-commerce platforms and digital channels. Even after the pandemic, online sales are increasing and are expected to do so. The industry is predicted to become worth $50 billion by 2025 and it would be a strategic move for businesses to increase their presence through digital channels to expand.
